FM students in preschool through 6th grade headed home with brand-new books on March 4 as part of our Read Across America Week celebration! 📚
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and community, this year’s Book Blast was a huge success. With support from Books Are Fun, $22,972.99 was raised, helping provide:

📖 2–10 books for every student
📖 $100 for each classroom
📖 A complete set of books for each grade level for the FM Library

In total, 1,673 books are now in the hands of our students and teachers!

The Fremont-Mills Speech Department recently hosted a special dinner to honor former FM All-State Speech students and coaches. It was a great evening celebrating the program’s history and the people who helped build it. Our current speech students had the opportunity to perform their contest pieces for these alumni and coaches and received valuable feedback as they prepare for the State Contest next Saturday. It was a meaningful night of learning, encouragement, and tradition as past and present members of FM Speech came together to support the next group heading to state!

Good luck to All-State Dancer Brookelynn Billingsley as she performs at the Iowa High School Girls Basketball Tournament. Brookelynn will be performing on Friday during the pregame at 5:40 PM and the pregame on Saturday at 2:15 PM.

These 6-8th graders competed in the Math Counts competition this week! This is a nationwide JH math program by the Iowa Engineering Society. Our team competed well and were great representatives of FM. Josiah Billingsley placed 10th  individual overall. Way to go, mathletes!
