Ocean Party night at FM this week...the 4-year-old Preschool kiddos created this ocean themselves and they worked super hard on each creature. They loved having an open house party to share what they’ve learned and worked on with their families!! It was a great night.
On Wednesday, February 15, FM’s 8th grade students traveled to the SAC Museum in Ashland, NE, to engage in a field trip organized by the Institute for Holocaust Education.
The day included a guided tour of the “Searching for Humanity” exhibit and two Holocaust-related lessons in the morning. In the afternoon, students watched a video testimony of the late Henry Krausman’s (1927-2020) survival of the Holocaust, along with commentary from his son Michael. This field trip connects to the content in their ELA classes with Mrs. Callahan and Mrs. Schaaf.

FM HS Art Club kids recently met to make Heart Tie Dye tshirts. Students learned how to fold their shirts to create a heart shape and had lots of fun in the process!
Mrs. Murphy's 10th grade English class is always willing to help out with 3rd grade's class parties. On Valentines Day they enabled us to have six different stations and students moved from station to station playing games, racing, and just having fun.
Isaac Roach (10th Clarinet), William Wilson (10th Trombone), Akaisha Steeve (11th Flute) and Lillian Howe (11th Trombone) participated in the annual Band, Orchestra, Choir Honor Festival on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus January 27-28. Students from 65 Nebraska and Iowa schools participated in rehearsals, masterclasses, performances and heard faculty recitals during the two day event.

Non-Contact Period for the summer of 2023 will be Sunday, July 23, 2023, through Sunday, July 30, 2023. This is the third year of an annual break in activities across Iowa each summer.
During this time, there will be no activities in the Fremont-Mills Community School District to include camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning, lessons, meetings, etc.
