F-M's High School Student Council has been busy at the start of the 2024-2025 school year! They kicked off the year with Open House and continued with planning and preparing for Homecoming festivities. In October, they wanted to focus on fundraising for the American Cancer Society with a Pink Out event.
On Wednesday, October 9, they hosted a co-ed volleyball tournament for high school students and staff. Five teams participated, raising nearly $200. The winning team was the Anime Alphas, who went undefeated on the night! (See picture for all participating teams.)
In addition to the volleyball tournament, Pink Out shirts were sold, raising over $300. In total, fundraising efforts are currently over $500, all of which will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The fundraising event is still accepting donations online through October 31, 2024.
